Afghanistan - a country of one hundred faces and facets. Despite the years of war and the never ending suffering, we encounter people during our journey who always welcome us cordially and offer us their hospitality, ideas and pragmatism. And time and again we are overwhelmed by the beauty of Afghanistan’s nature  and landscapes.

There are many volunteers not only in Afghanistan but also in Switzerland working very hard to finance the projects in Afghanistan – at the occasion of giving talks, collecting money, at market stands, during donation actions, etc. In Afghanistan or in Switzerland, the Afghanistanhilfe is grateful for all those beautiful moments in the open country, together with the people and we would like to share some of these impressions with you.
